Rocky Mountain Hardware Introduces Flute

The Roger Thomas Collection, in collaboration with Rocky Mountain Hardware, present ‘Flute’. Aptly named for the fluted detailing that characterizes ancient Corinthian columns, the collection captures Thomas’ affinity for referencing classic architectural elements as seen through a modern day lens. Each piece is thoughtfully simple in shape, commanding in scale and textured to the touch. It is a design that fits comfortably in the hand and seamlessly into any style space, residential or commercial.

Rocky Mountain Hardware Launches Five New Collections

Idaho bronze manufacturer has introduced five new collections to their already impressive offering. The Collections are as follows.

Curvaceous. Clean. Classic. Convex embodies a  collection that caters to both the modernist and traditionalist, and all aesthetic tastes in between. The arched centerline of the escutcheon serves as a simple yet alluring background for a sleek lever or thumblatch grip to rest.

Inspired by ornamental timepieces and jewelry dating decades before the roaring ‘20s, Corbel expresses an Edwardian-meets  modern aesthetic apt for those looking for a sculptural statement maker. The collection—which is handcast using the “lost wax” method to truly capture the design’s exquisite details—is available in rectangular or arched profiles.

Intricate fleur-de-lis designs add a fanciful touch to Bordeaux. Fashioned from Rocky Mountain Hardware’s unique “investment cast” or “lost wax” method, which yields richer and more refined detail than other processes, this collection is well suited for projects where a chic French touch is desired.

The Hammered collection harkens to the deft work of old world blacksmiths, and best reflects the premium the brand places on personal craftsmanship and attention to detail. The richly textured assortment was created from hand-carved molds to enliven the tactile surface of each piece.

About Rocky Mountain Hardware

Rocky Mountain Hardware began as a family owned distributor and showroom for other manufacturers' architectural hardware. Over time they began to notice a gap in the market, both in terms of style and the quality of the hardware's operation. They found that architects, designers, and builders from the upscale Sun Valley, Idaho market were repeatedly asking for something that just didn’t exist.

That was the beginning of custom bronze work by Rocky Mountain Hardware. Whenever a need arose on a project for a particular type of hardware that just couldn't be found, the company created it. This grew into the realization that there was a market for a new line of hardware: a simple, handcrafted look that would work equally as well in a rustic log home, a Mediterranean-style villa, a French country house, or a more contemporary-style project.

Since then the collection has grown from door hardware and accessories, to sinks and faucets, to tile and lighting.
